First Steps Early Childcare provides a variety of services and activities to support a child's development, including:
Learning: We offer a curriculum that includes reading, science, math, art, movement, and outdoor experiences.
Social-emotional development: Children learn to trust others and gain self-confidence through interactions with peers and caregivers.
Self-control and independence: Children learn to make choices, navigate new situations, and understand consequences. They also learn patience and cooperation.
Developmental milestones: Babies practice skills that support upcoming developmental milestones, such as crawling, sitting, and walking.
Meals and snacks: We prepare and serve multiple meals and snacks.
Naps: We provide time for naps.
Outdoor play: 90 min of outdoor play, such as garden activities.
Other services: Additional services, such as field trips, music, health screenings, vision and hearing screenings, and developmental testing.
